My handwoven placemats are made with 100% cotton warp and the plastic bags that come with my Star Tribune newspapers. With each placemat, I can recycle 40 plastic bags into a 20" x 15" mat. They are easy to clean and can be machine washed and dried. Steam flat with low heat and a press cloth. I will take custom orders, using the bag colors that I have in stock.
