Most brides come in for alterations, hemming and bustling of their dress. I also work with their bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dresses.

Alterations & Bustling
I design each bustle differently, according to the style of the dress. The most common bustle is the inside bustle, so it looks like a hemmed dress with the train hidden under the skirt. I will train you on doing the bustle, which is usually done with color coded hooks and loops.

Redesign
Redesign includes taking the mother’s wedding gown and remaking it into a special garment for the bride. I often make robes, which the bride will use for the morning of the wedding. Other examples could include a rehearsal night dress or a clutch style purse.
